Create short links and make sense of click analytics

Shorten a URL, manage it in Tulo’s dashboard and interpret click totals, referrers and unique visitor estimates without confusing clicks with people.

Create a link that is easier to share

Paste a full HTTP or HTTPS address into URL Shortener and create a short link. Copy the generated address and check the destination before sharing it. The destination’s path and query parameters remain part of the redirect, so remove any private tokens from the original URL first.

The tool rejects malformed addresses and embedded URL credentials. A short link does not make the destination trustworthy or secret: anyone with the link can follow it. Use it for legitimate destinations and label shared links clearly so recipients know what to expect.

Keep links connected to your account

You can create links without signing in. If your browser allows a guest session, sign in from that same browser to move guest links and their recorded clicks into your account. Clearing session data first can prevent that association; avoid relying on guest storage as a permanent management method.

The Links dashboard lists your saved links. Open Stats for a link to review its analytics. You can delete a link you own; this disables future redirects rather than undoing previous visits. Check where a link has been published before removing it.

Interpret clicks in context

A click total counts recorded redirect requests, not confirmed human readers of the destination. Link scanners, previews, repeated visits or automated requests may affect it. An increase after a campaign is a useful signal, but it is not proof of a purchase or successful page load.

Use daily trends and the available country, device and referrer breakdowns together. Referrers can be absent when browsers or applications omit them. Unique visitor estimates use daily rotating identifiers and are not permanent user identities.

Troubleshoot a link before distributing it

If creation fails, verify the address begins with http:// or https:// and points to a full hostname. Links back to this service may be rejected to avoid redirect chains. If an existing short link reports that it was removed, ask its owner for a replacement.

For important announcements, keep the original destination available alongside the short link in your own records. Tulo’s shortener does not verify the content of the destination, and shortening a URL cannot repair a broken page at the other end.
