Common questions
How do I convert a PDF to JPG?
Choose or drop your PDF, keep JPG as the image format and download. One selected page saves as a JPG file. Multiple pages download together in a ZIP, with one numbered image for each page. PNG is available in Image format.
Can I save only certain PDF pages?
Yes. Choose Choose pages under Pages to save, then enter page numbers or ranges such as 1-3, 5. Duplicate entries are ignored and images follow the original document order. You can save up to 100 pages per download. Preview navigation does not change the pages selected for saving.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Yes, if you know its password. Enter it when prompted. An incorrect password can be corrected without starting over. The password stays in your browser and is cleared when you leave the tool; it is never sent to a server or saved by Tulo.
Should I choose JPG or PNG?
JPG usually makes smaller files and is useful for sharing scanned pages or photos. PNG preserves the rendered pixels without lossy image compression and works well for sharp text and diagrams. Pages render on white. The output is a picture of the PDF page, not an editable document or the original images extracted from inside it.
How do I change image resolution?
Open Image size. Standard uses a 150 dpi equivalent, Small uses 96 and High resolution uses 300. Higher resolution creates more pixels and usually larger files. Page rotation and size determine the output dimensions. Very large pages may need a smaller setting; the tool shows an error instead of silently reducing your chosen resolution.
Are my PDFs uploaded or stored?
No. The PDF, its password and the generated images stay on your device. Rendering resources are self-hosted; your document is not sent to a conversion server or third-party service. Leaving or refreshing the tool clears the document and previews. Save your downloads before leaving.
What are the limits and what if conversion fails?
Choose a PDF up to 100 MB and save up to 100 pages per download. Images and the final ZIP are limited to 100 MB, with each rendered page bounded to 25 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side. Choose fewer pages or a smaller image size if a limit is reached. Damaged or unsupported PDFs may not render correctly; your document stays available after a cancelled or failed export so you can adjust and retry.
